About This Project

Under the Sanitation Innovation Accelerator, IRC, Taru & Ennovent accelerated Garv Toilets, a company offering end-to-end sanitation solutions, which are eco-friendly and self-sustainable in terms of energy-usage and waste disposal.

Garv was selected for capacity building from 50 business solutions that were crowdsourced through a nationwide search, as part of the Sanitation Innovation Accelerator 2016. Mentors were engaged to work with the business to diversify its revenue streams, strengthen its partnership models and develop its distribution channels.

Garv pitched to investors at the program’s culmination, partnered with Samagra to build toilets in Pune and are working with Ennovent to explore partnerships with the Bhutanese government.
